New NECTA grades system used in Form Six Examination Results 2014

There are seven grades indicated as A, B+, B, C, D, E, and F. 

(i)  A is distinction or outstanding performance

(ii) B+ is excellent performance

(iii) B is very good performance;

(iv)C is good performance;

(v) D is low performance

(vi) E is very low performance and

(vii)  F is unsatisfactory performance.



According to these new grades;
A 75 - 100

B+ 60 - 74
B 50- 59
C 40 - 49
D 30 - 39
E 20 - 29
F 0 - 19 


And new division system is:
3 - 7 I 
Outstanding performance 

8 - 9 II Excellent performance 

10 - 13 III Good performance 

14 - 16 IV Low performance 

17 - 21 O Unsatisfactory performance.

To calculate the division and points.
A is 1,
B+ is  2,
B is 3,
C is 4,
D is 5, 
E is 6  and
F is 7.

Total points obtained by adding 3  best performed subjects except the subsidiary subjects.
